The app license
The app is licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That license governs use of the app. These terms add the purchase rules below. They are not a replacement for Apple’s EULA.
Free use and Unlock Unlimited
Free use is 5 conversions a day on that device. Unlock Unlimited is a one-time non-consumable purchase through Apple’s In-App Purchase, at the price shown on the App Store, currently $4.99 in the United States. No subscription, so nothing renews. It is not Family Sharing.
Payment and refunds
Payment, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. The developer cannot refund a purchase directly. Restore Purchases is in the app and uses the same Apple ID.
The app is provided as is
Conversion can fail for a photo that cannot be read, a file that is too large, an unsupported type, or a photo still only in iCloud. Those failures do not by themselves create a refund right beyond Apple’s policy.
The website
The website loads the Meta Pixel. Meta may set a cookie and receive which pages you open. The privacy policy describes that. The app does not load the Meta Pixel, and it does not send your photos to Meta.
